Rakesh Roshan’s superhero flick KRRISH 4 starring Hrithik Roshan to roll from January 2020!

The fourth part of Rakesh Roshan’s hugely popular superhero franchise, Krrish, is one of the most in-demand movies with Hrithik Roshan fans and distributors who keep asking the filmmaker when his next will start. Here’s some good news for them. Six years after Krrish 3, apparently, Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan are all set to announce the fourth series of their superhero franchise Krrish next month and filming will begin by January 2020.

Says a trade source, “After the huge success of his last two movies, Super 30 and War, Hrithik Roshan has been flooded with some really good offers but the actor is being choosy and biding his time. While there’s been talk that he has put Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty’s Seven on hold till the script is re-written, Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan, have been sitting in all creatives of Krrish 4 so they are all set to announce it by this year. Hithik’s next movie announcement will be Krrish 4 which begins shoot from January next year. They would have announced it earlier but as the filmmaker was recovering from his illness, it took time. But for the last few months, Rakesh Roshan has been sitting on the script and fine-tuning all other details.”

The source adds that the Krrish 4 script is ready. “It’s again another mind-blowing concept from Rakesh Roshan and his team. They were trying to crack something spectacularly different from the other Krrish series and they found it. Apart from Right now, team Krrish is finalising the recce and where they will begin shot. Rakesh Roshan is an extremely meticulous and is involved in every aspect of production. He is leaving no stone to make sure that Krrish 4 becomes one of the most widely watched movies, like the earlier series. One won’t be surprised if they launch Krrish 4 and begin shooting from Hrithik’s birthday (January 10) but this movie will definitely be Hrithik’s next after War!”

While the earlier three parts, Koi…Mil Gaya, Krrish, Krrish 3 were directed by Rakesh Roshan, in recent times there were rumours that instead of him Sanjay Gupta would be directing it. But the senior filmmaker had squashed all talk when he said while Gupta was involved in the creatives along with the Roshans; he himself would be directing the movie. Gupta is currently busy with the shoot of his next movie, Mumbai Saga, which gets complete by December.

JudgeMentall Hai Kya & Jabariya Jodi Producer – Shaailesh R Singh Feels Controversies Don’t Bring Audience To The Theatres

In a career spanning over a decade, prominent film producer, Shaailesh R Singh has gained immense popularity for his association with content driven cinema. The independent producer has made several films, all of which have been hailed from all quarters.

Now the seasoned producer has two upcoming films – JudgeMentall Hai Kya and Jabariya Jodi, which have created quite a buzz and are eagerly awaited by movie buffs. That’s not all Singh has also kickstarted his next project Hurdang.

Speaking about his journey in filmdom, Singh said, “I have produced around 16 films, out of which 10 have been helmed by new directors. As an independent producer, what draws me to a film is just the story, nothing else. Content should have substance, whether it is a commercial or an independent film. The characters need to be relatable.”

Further throwing light on how content has become the king, Singh added, “Today the audience has access to good content. They don’t want to see a substandard product. There was a time, when, if a film didn’t have superstars, people wouldn’t want to watch it, but now things have changed. People will watch a good film in theatres no matter who’s in it. Of course, stars are an added advantage as they will give you a great opening, but eventually even they can’t save a bad film.”

In fact, the talented producer also shed light on the fact that controversies no longer bring an audience to the theatres. Speaking about the recent controversies revolving around his upcoming film JudgeMentall Hai Kya, Singh said, “I don’t think that the belief that ‘any publicity is good publicity’ works today. Controversies don’t bring audience to the theatres.”

Well, we couldn’t agree more with that wisdom.

Nandita Roy & Shiboprosad Mukherjee Add One More Lively Song – ‘Mashima Hitler’, To Gotro’s Album

It is not just the content-rich films based on human relationships that the talented filmmaker duo – Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee are known for. The versatile filmmakers are also renowned for the varied musical palette of all their films. Their upcoming film, the hotly-anticipated Gotro, is no different.

After winning hearts with the melodious recreation of Rabindra sangeet – ‘Neel Digante’, and the peppy mood uplifting ‘Rangabati’, the makers have dropped another impressive number from the film – ‘Mashima Hitler’

Picturised on film’s protagonist Mukti Debi, essayed by the talented Anashua Majumdar, ‘Mashima Hitler’, has a street-style flavour to it. The song gives an interesting insight into Mukti Debi’s character. Mukti Debi is a well-educated woman, who has some very strict rules and policies about her house – Gobindo Dham, because of which she has earned the moniker – Hitler. The song is about Mukti Debi and her quirks, which has frustrated everyone, including the caretaker of the house – Tariq Ali, played by Nigel Akkara. After playing the lead role in ‘Mukherjee Dar Bou’ under Windows Production, Biswanath Basu is seen matching his steps to the tunes of ‘Mashima Hitler’.

While Anindya Chattopadhyay has done a great job with the composition of this lively track, ‘Mashima Hitler’ is brought to life in the vivacious voice of Babul Supriyo, his first song after becoming Union minister for the second time. This song is a new addition to the list of splendid numbers sung by Babul Supriyo.
Gotro is based on a social issue and tries to remind us of the importance of humanity over religion through a heart-warming story.

Like all Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee films, Gotro is produced by Windows Production. The film will hit the screens in August on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami.

Kanagana Ranaut – Rajkummar Rao ask you to shave the opinions and come be Judgementall on July 26th !

The makers of JudgeMentall Hai Kya believe that it takes a lot of courage for an actor to play a character that is crazy, twisted and complex. While Bobby celebrates the crazy side of a person, Keshav portrays whatever is perfect and normal. Director Prakash Kovelmudi says, “When we first heard the script, we knew that Bobby was a character that needed an actor who would go all out with unabashed madness. You need a certain edge in real life to pull off such a crazy, complex character. No one but Kangana (Ranaut) could’ve pulled this off. Rajkummar Rao as Keshav is equally flawless. He has played the character to the T. Both the actors have complimented each other’s madcap energy in this film, and the audience is surely in for a treat. It takes guts to go nuts.” The film follows two diametrically opposite characters, who lend their quirks to a thrilling storyline.

Producer Ekta Kapoor shares, “Kangana and Rajkummar are not just talented stars of today, their craziness matches ours. Both of them are gutsy and eager to step out of their comfort zones, and JudgeMentall Hai Kya has given them the perfect opportunity to do that.”

JudgeMentall Hai Kya, produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Shaailesh R Singh, releases on July 26.

Judgementall Hai Kya is all about celebrating individuality & quirks

JudgeMentall Hai Kya is all about celebrating individuality & quirks

There is already a strong buzz around director Prakash Kovelamudi’s JudgeMentall Hai kya which stars Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao.

In the film, Kangana will portray Bobby, a unique, slightly cuckoo woman, who lives next door to Rajkummar and is seemingly obsessed with him. On his part, the actor plays Keshav, a troubled guy who has multiple shades and can’t be fully trusted.

Bobby is a voiceover artiste, who oscillates between various looks, as she dubs for South films, horror flicks and quirky ads. A complex character, she has a tough time fitting in, which is conveyed beautifully in the way she dresses up.

As Bobby, Kangana has tried to make a statement through her choice of clothes. Whether it’s her trademark red sweater or some other attire, everything has a pop and quirky element to it, which compliments Kangana’s zany character in the film.

Rajkummar will be seen sporting two contrasting looks in the film — as the rugged, raw guy next door, and as a suave and slick man when the film travels to London in the latter half. With so many layers to his characters, his look, too, is laden with different shades.

Keeping the essence of both the personalities in mind, stylist Sheetal Sharma worked closely with Prakash Kovelamudi to design young and offbeat looks for the duo.

Kangana says, “My character is very complex. It was not something that developed overnight, but it required a lot of analysis, research and of course, my own perception of Bobby. We wanted her to look rebellious yet vulnerable, innocent yet dangerous, culpable yet investigative, reclusive and yet a histrionic personality.”

Rajkummar adds, “I have two remarkably different looks in the film — one where I play this regular boy next door, living in the bustling city of Mumbai, and the other, where I step into this suave gentleman look. The difference in my styling reflects the complexity of my character, at the same time emphasising the normality of his behaviour.”

As part of her look, Kangana will also sport two distinct hairstyles in the film. While she will sport one hairstyle in the first half of the film, in the second half, when her character travels to London, she will be seen with a quirky hairdo. The looks are radically different, but her oddball nature remains consistent.

“Bobby is very complex. Through her looks, we had to show her conflicting sides. She is crazy, suspicious and different, and all this had to be showcased through her look as well,” says Prakash Kovelamudi.

Producer Ekta Kapoor elaborates, “She’s irreverent, radical and absolutely wild. As Bobby, Kangana has aced her character. Her oddity is what makes her stand out and that’s what we attempt to celebrate. Bobby works on her instincts and you’re either with her, or you’re questioning her, right till the end. Rajkummar as Keshav is exactly the opposite. He is the happy ‘normal’ guy and that makes his character more fishy. Both Bobby and Keshav compel you to wonder who the real culprit is.”

An intriguing thriller, JHK promises to encourage everyone to embrace and celebrate their individuality and distinctiveness.
